Vintage Metal AXXE Razer VR4000CT Reviews 3

BOUGHT FROM EBAY AUCTION, FOR A 2ND GUITAR, PLEASED I PAYED NOTHING LIKE RRP!NO QUARMS WITH THE DEALER!

NOT MUCH.PLAYS EASILY, ER.......ER......ERR, THATS IT! MAKES A GOOD SNOW SHOVEL, CRICKET BAT, SNOWBOARD, BUT NOT MUCH GOOD AS A GUITAR.

PAINT WORK IS FULL OF DUST, SMALL MARKS AND BLEMISHES.FLOYD ROSE COPY IS SO WEAK IT LETS ALL THE STRINGS LOOSE IF YOU EVEN THINK OF HAMMERING IT, TUNING IS A REAL PAIN IN THE ARSE, ESPECIALY WITH THE NUT CLAMPS. CHANGE A STRING IN A HURRY? FORGET IT!!!

BODY IS SUPPOSED TO BE MAHOGONY, I'VE GOT MY DOUBTS, WOOD LOOKS TO LIGHT (IN COLOUR) TO ME. THE FINNISH IS TERRIBLE, LOOKS GOOD IN A SHOP WINDOW OR CATOLOGUE, BUT DO'NT LOOK TOO CLOSE. ( OR RATHER DO!) TREM SYSTEM IS A FLOYD ROSE COPY, NEVER HAD A REAL ONE, BUT THE PATENT OWNER WOULD DO WELL TO LOOK AT THIS, LOOKS FINE BUT TOO WEAK!ELECTRIC COMPONENTS SEEM GOOD, TWIN HUMBCKERS, PLENTY OF VARIATION, GOOD SUSTAIN.

WITH A RRP OF £229 THERE'S PLENTY BETTER FOR THE MONEY, I WOULD HAVE GONE FOR ITS BROTHER, VR4000BTB WITHOUT THE FLOYD ROSE, A CHEAPER OPTION AND IT MIGHT STAY IN KEY! PLAYING ABILITY IS IDEAL FOR A LEARNER BUT TOO COMPLICATED , BEST LEFT TO EXPERIENCE. THEN THERE'S THAT FINNISH, OR LACK OF.....HORN TIPS EASILY DAMAGED IF NOT VERY CAREFULL.
